Pireco® Application:
The different ways to applicate Pireco®
Application on the surface:
When heavily diluted, the substance can be sprayed over the crops and plants, allowing it to be immediately absorbed via the leaves. This changes the aroma of the plant, which will cause harmful insects to starve. The population will drop below the damaging threshold level.
Pireco® also contains special fungicidal supplements. After spraying on crops or other greenery it forms a thin layer on the surface of the leaves which prevents spores from germinating.
Application in the soil:
Pireco® can be applied in the soil as well by means of injecting it, mixing it or diluting it in water.
This way the plant will absorb the substance and transport it to its trunk, branches and leaves, thereby changing the aroma as well. The substance will prevent damage from many surface insects, like sciara flies, eelworms and the vine weevil.
The special fungicidal supplements will decrease the growth of harmful fungi thereby allowing the soil to regain its natural balance. When applied in the soil, the substance needs to be mixed with a special thickening aid, consisting of natural elements. This prevents quick rinsing away.
